Pomegranate Antioxidant Punch Recipe

Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants, including polyphenols and flavonoids, which can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.

500mL unsweetened pomegranate juice

1 orange, peeled

75g piece of ginger, peeled and chopped

50g piece of turmeric, peeled and chopped OR

1/2 tbs ground turmeric

few grinds of fresh black pepper

 

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz until the ginger and orange has broken down completely.

  2. Strain through a fine sieve.

  3. Pour equally between 12 containers and freeze.

  4. Remove from the freezer and let defrost at least 1 hour before consuming.
